You may be surprised by how many different foods you can grill in your apartment community. The Woodview at Randolph Blog has some grilling tips plus recipes to try this month in Randolph, MA. Invite some friends over and celebrate National Barbecue Month throughout May.

 

Up Your Grilling Game

 

The internet has a host of ideas for how to step up to the plate and grill the perfect burger. Brush up on a few so your meat can wow all of your guests. Here are 20 grilling tips from the pros to try out during your next big outing.

 

Food is the star of the show at your barbecue, so now is the time to make it great! Provide classic barbecue fare like burgers and brats, or take advantage of the versatility of grilling and provide options like chicken, ribs, steak, or kabobs, plus sides that are grill friendly. We have a few other ideas that you might find worth trying. Check them out below:

 
  • Grilled Steak, Potato, and Mushroom Kabobs — This recipe is perfect for the steak lover. You’ll need steak, mushrooms, potatoes, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary, and oregano. Heat up the grill and get ready for a juicy and delicious kabob.  

 
  • Mini Grilled Pizzas — If you haven’t tried grilling your own homemade pizzas, we highly suggest trying it out. First, make the pizza dough and let it set in the fridge for a few hours. Second, make the sauce and chop up any toppings you’d like. For the sauce you’ll need tomato sauce, oregano, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and garlic powder. For the toppings, use whatever you’d like such as a variety of peppers, meats, and vegetables. Grill the dough and top with sauce, cheese, and your choice of toppings!

 
  • Grilled Sweet Potatoes — These sweet potatoes are a perfect addition to any BBQ. You’ll need sweet potatoes, olive oil, kosher salt, chopped cilantro, and lemon or lime zest. Coat the sliced sweet potatoes with olive oil and salt. Grill on each side, then top with the cilantro lime dressing.

 
  • Brazilian Grilled Pineapple — As an appetizer or dessert, this blend of pineapple slices, brown sugar, and cinnamon is the perfect addition to a barbeque.
